MEDICARE PLAN FINDER DOES NOT WORK

The Medicare Plan Finder does not work correctly. I had searched for a plan in my state the old-fashioned, time-consuming way. I called every plan and while speaking to them logged into their websites, pulled up the long formulary list and confirmed they covered the 2 medications which I take. Out of all the plans in my state, only 3 covered both drugs and only 2 covered without the "prior authorization" burden. I just tried the Medicare plan finder again 15 minutes ago on 11/11/05. It keeps insisting that very part D plan in my state covers the 2 drugs. The Plan Finder does NOT work. No matter what information you give it about specific drugs, it will only return a list of every plan on offer regardless of whether or not a specific drug is covered.

There is no warning on the Medicare Website that the Plan Finder is not functional. An individual can easily use it now, not knowing it doesn't work, rely upon the data, sign up for a plan next week and not have the coverage they need.
